Ranked by real use, with Hacker News and awesome-list mentions counted and copies and inflated install counts flagged. Copy an install prompt for one tool, or add several to your install list and install them together.
How installing works
Every tool gets a prompt to paste into Claude Code in your project. Tools Vishwaclaudema has vetted install with the exact command for the version that was safety-checked. For anything else, the prompt has Claude download the tool without running it, tell you what it does and anything risky, and install it only if you say yes. Everything installs for that project only.
How the ranking works
Installs and stars count, a tool's own installs more than its repo's stars. Recent growth, being listed in several places and being from Anthropic or its official marketplace count too. Repos with no change in six months rank lower. Copies of a skill under different owners with near-identical install counts, and skills that jump from nothing to tens of thousands of installs in two weeks, are flagged and ranked down. A rank is a starting point, not a recommendation: read what a tool does before you install it. Updated weekly; last update 8 October 2026.
